ITScriptNet V3
Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 (among others) are all available in both 32-Bit and 64-Bit versions. All of these operating systems can run both 32-bit and 64-bit applications.
Current versions of ITScriptNet (through 3.1b) are all 32-bit applications. In our testing so far, we have not identified any issues running ITScriptNet on the 64-bit versions of Windows. However, there are a few notes to be aware of.
DETAILS
ODBC Data Sources
If you use an ODBC DSN to communicate with a database, be sure to create it with the 32-bit ODBC Administrator. 32-Bit applications can only see 32-Bit DSNs, and 64-bit applications can only see 64-bit DSNs.
.Net Assemblies
If you have a VBScript (either a post-processing script, or a RemoteScript) that calls into a COM-callable .Net assembly, make sure the assembly is marked 32-Bit Only.
It is possible that you could run into other issues, but these are the ones we have identified so far.
