ITScriptNet 3.0c (8) contains the following updates:

New Features

  • Added a feature to automatically archive all files downloaded to the Omni Server.  Also supports automatically cleaning up the archived files.
  • Added Gradient and Chisled style to Push-Like Radio Button and Checkboxes.
  • Added the ability to limit which devices can connect to a particular program with OMNI Communications.
  • Added SetServerAddress function to allow changing the Omni Server at runtime.
  • Added new GPS filter options for Once Per Send and Once Per Stop.

Other Updates and fixes

  • Modified GPS code to work around issues that can occur with some WM6 devices.
  • Removed Ready-To-Go Applications from the default installation package.
  • Added a Shell DLL to both the Unitech MT-380 and MR-650 to support the Fingerprint reader and digital IO.
  • Changed the default Host Address for the client to PPP_PEER so the device is configured to connect to the locally attached PC over ActiveSync.
  • Improved performance of Grid and List filling from Validation files when using Filtering.
  • Fixed Format function problem when truncating small negative numbers.
  • Addressed a Delete Collect issue when the ALL parameter was zero.
  • Solved problem with CSV format validation files with text qualifiers not extracting fields correctly.
  • Fixed syntax check lockup on the Replace function when the source string was blank.
  • Addressed problem when CallITB was passed an invalid ITB file name.
  • Addressed problem with RemoteSQL returning multiple fields.  The Tab delimiter characters were not inserted correctly.
  • Expanded the clipping region for Static Text be a few pixels on the right to prevent truncating some text.
  • When registering a Designer serial number from the System Console, the OK button is now disabled when the first Serial Number screen is displayed.  This prevents skipping this screen which causes problems later in the registration process.
  • When creating a new program after editing an existing one, some of the Data Processing scrips where not being cleared.
    Fixed issue calling CreateValidationRemote with filter fields that crashed the Simulator or Omni Server.
  • Addressed an issue with the GPS Location element where data was not saved to fixed-width output files if no field header was specified.
  • Removed the dependancy on AYGSHELL.DLL.  This prevented the client from running on Windows CE Core Edition devices.  For these devices, Tap and Hold Popups do not work.
  • The designer will now only change the width of a static text element if the text has ben changed.
  • Address issue with Cold Boot shortcuts on Honeywell devices.  The device would display an error when restoring the shortcut, although the shortcut was restored properly.
  • Fixed issue with LookupValidation using Remote validation files.
    Add unique ID to GPS tracking files when downloading over Omni Server to prevent file name conflicts.
  • Fixed an issue downloading GPS tracking data along with colected data over Omni server.  The GPS tracking data was not processed correctly.
  • The client now creates a dummy MAC address from the device unique ID if no MAC address can be determined.
    Device licenses were not being listed correctly in the System Console after being registered.
  • The client was allowing mutiple licenses of the same type to be registered.
  • Fixed problem with Image Capture not working on the MC55 due to triggers already registered by other processes.
  • Added the correct delimiters to CSV data read from SQL CE.
  • The Shell function was requiring the EXE called to be located in the ITB directory.  It can now be in any directory.
  • Clients now return a 0 WiFi signal strength if not associated.
