The ITScriptNet 3.0b client does not run on a device using Windows CE Core Edition.  This includes Datalogic (Memor, Skorpio, Kyman) and Symbol (MC3000) devices with Core Edition.  The client runs correctly on devices with Windows CE Professional Edition.

RESOLUTION

The Windows CE Core edition has reduced functionality over the Windows CE Professional Edition.  Specifically, Core Edition does not support the AGYSHELL.DLL used for gesture support, including Tap and Hold.  As a result, the ITScriptNet V3.0b client can not be run on Core Edition devices as it references AGYSHELL.DLL.

Starting with ITScriptNet 3.0c, the client will detect if AGYSHELL.DLL is not available and will run on the device.  Tap and Hold Popups will not be available, but otherwise the client will run correctly.
