Starting with the 5353 DAT files, McAfee is detecting some ITScriptNet programs as containing the Swizzor.gen.c Trojan.
This is a false positive. We have scanned these programs with other virus scanners and are certain that they are not infected. We have contacted McAfee to request resolution on this. In the meantime, we suggest that you add the ITScriptNet installation folder to your exclusion list so it is not scanned.
We have also had success by rolling back the DATs to the 5352 version, which do not experience this problem. However, we are not sure whether future DAT updates will still detect it.
UPDATE: Aug 5th, 2008 2:15pm EDT
McAfee has released the next DAT update, 5354. These DATs correct the false positive detection on our programs. Please update your VirusScan to the latest DATs to solve the problem.
We will update this article as more information becomes avaialble.
