ITScriptNet 2.3a (6) contains the following updates.
DETAILS
Adds Dolphin Windows Mobile 5 client.
Removed the error message if running a non-registered generator under a limited User account on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows7.
Fixed problem when exiting a VB.Net application with an embedded PC Client ActiveX control.
Solved a problem in Post Processing Scripts that sometimes caused an exception to be thrown.
Corrected Keep Alive messages for VBScript and VBScriptFile that caused the client to think the transmission failed.
Addressed problem of rejected scans still advancing the focus on the Unitech devices.
SELECT(0) or SELECT(-1) on Combobox, listbox, grid, multilist now remove the selection. Also removed the OnClickedScript that was being run on the client only, and made sure all 4 run the ValueChanged script when Select is called.
Moved the evaluation of the Button ‘Action’ property to the Click event.
Solved SetItemData/GetItemData and SetItemText/GetITemText problems when the combobox or listbox is empty.
Made sure all Radio Button scripts are added to the Find result list.
Set the Omni communications status text to ‘Connecting…’ any time the dialog is shown.
Added missing device paths to the Terminal Configuration utility.
Removed unregister button from the Omni Server and made sure the Runtime serial number is displayed.
Added extra message when saving if the program had been upgraded from one edition to another, or if upgraded from an older header version to the latest.
Added secondary test for the ADO install to prevent spurious reboot messages.
Changed the border on the CK31 to ‘Thin’ so it centers better.
Made the Comm Port default to ActiveSync instead of Serial for CE/PPC based clients.
New shape defaults to Rectangle instead of Circle.
Reversed the Omni Server address lookup to attempt and IP address connection first, and a DNS lookup second. Solves a timeout problem if no DNS server is available.
Fixed problem saving changes to the ‘Allow Override’ and ‘Hidden’ scripts on a ComboBox.
Solved a problem with nested IF/ELSEIF/ELSE/ENDIF blocks.
For Multi-lists with checkboxes, Select() now checks or unchecks the boxes in addition to just selecting the rows.
Corrected problem with multiple indexes on a validation file, when all have the same number of fields.
Solved Omni Server race condition that caused the server to think a busy thread was free, and caused that request to be ignored. Caused a timeout on the client.
Added Validation File definition Import/Export support.
Added new constants: sysITBFile, sysITCFile, sysTerminalID, sysScreenWidth, sysScreenHeight, sysClientWidth, sysClientHeight.
ValidationFail can now take a blank string, which causes the messagebox to be suppressed.
AfterValidation on a prompt is not called if the built-in validations fail.
Windows Mobile 5 terminal type allows resizing the screen to support new WM5/6 screen sizes.
Added limited Square screen support / rotation support.
Converted client Config screen to Tabbed interface and added other settings.
Added more fullscreen modes.
Updated the Unitech PA962, PA966 clients. Added the HT660, PA600 clients.
Increased the 5 record demo limit to 10 records.
