This article applies to ITScriptNet Versions 2.4 and earlier:
When installing the ITScriptNet Client to a Symbol (Motorola) Windows Mobile 5 device, the device prompts for the location to install to: Main Memory, Applications, or Storage Card (if installed).
The Application store is non-volatile, meaning it will survive a cold boot or the loss of battery power. This is the default installation location for the ITScriptNet client. On Symbol Pocket PC 2003 devices, the client automatically installs into the Application store without a prompt. However, with the release of Windows Mobile 5, the device now prompts for the installation location regardless. You should select the Application store as the installation location.
Starting with Windows Mobile 5 devices, the Main Memory (Program Files) store is also non-volatile. You can safely install to Main Memory on these devices.
