ITScriptNet supports devices from Symbol Technologies using the SMDK. Symbol devices running Windows CE 4.2 or PocketPC 2003 are directly supported with the ITScriptNet SMDK clients.

DETAILS

The new Windows CE 5.0 or Windows Mobile 5 devices are backwards compatible with software written using the previous SMDK. Therefore, the existing ITScriptNet clients work correctly on these new devices. This simplifies the management of software because the same client can be used on a mixed install of CE 4.2/PPC03 and CE 5.0/WM5 devices.
