Direct USB uses a virtual serial port driver to communicate with the PC over a USB connection. Bluetooth also uses a virtual serial port connection to communicate with serial devices such as GPS units, scanners, etc. With the Bluetooth radio enabled, the ITScriptNet client may attempt to open the COM port used by the Bluetooth virtual serial port instead of the Direct USB connection.
In ITScriptNet versions 2.1a and previous, you may need to disable the Bluetooth radio on the Dolphin 9500 / 7900 to allow the USB Direct virtual serial port to work correctly. This problem has been corrected in ITScriptNet version 2.2a and higher.
