ITScriptNet 2.1a (8) contains the following updates.
DETAILS
Fixed problem that caused Upper ASCII characters to be converted wrong, so foreign language characters didn’t work on CE/PPC devices. The fix allows mapping ASCII characters to the correct Unicode character using the currently selected Region.
Fixed single-prompt element positioning on the 7300. The elements were being positioned off the screen.
Added timeout to receive file on the client. If the server timed out or stopped part way through sending a file to the client, the client would hang.
Fixed simulator/client crash with TextLists if keys were pressed.
Changed the ADO lookup functions to use a more efficient mechanism. This increases the speed of ADO database access and validation file generation.
Make sure program stays in fullscreen mode when a utilities password is required to exit the client.
Fixed a problem with Global Script Files where a second CR was at the end of some lines. Without it, the files didn’t parse right.
Fixed occasional crash on the Configure Receive screen.
Enabled designer support for scanning in the PC Client.
Changed Unitec PA-962 scanning to prevent scanner.txt logfile from being created.
Removed client syntax error if the validation file was missing.
Added ability to pass a DSN to CreateValidationRemote in the filename field: dsn/filename.
