How do I get the ITScriptNet client to load automatically when the terminal reboots?
There are several methods you can use to accomplish this.
For a Dolphin 7200
When the ITScriptNet client is installed, the Autoexec.bat is automatically modified to run the client on startup. No other modifications should be needed.
For the Windows CE and PocketPC Dolphins
You can simply copy the shortcut from the \Windows\Start Menu folder to the \Windows\Startup folder. This will cause the client to be loaded when the device warm boots.
If you need the client to start automatically after a cold boot, you will need to modify the Autorun.ini file.
Note: This is a system file that is required for the terminal to operate properly. Modifying this file incorrectly can cause the terminal to fail to function. Z-Space Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for any problems that may result from modifying this file.
Connect to the terminal using ActiveSync. Copy \IPSM\Autorun.ini to your local PC. You can add the following to the bottom of the Autorun.ini file:
[Program12]
Program=\ipsm\ITScriptNet Omni\D95BatOmni.exe
Args=""
Wait=0
StartOption=WARMBOOT
Note that you must replace the directory name and client name shown here with the correct one for your software version.
Copy Autorun.ini back to the terminal. This will load the client after any boot, including a cold boot.
