Images are not embedding into a Microsoft Access database when downloading from the terminal.

This problem can happen if all of the following are true:

• The ITScriptNet program is designed to download to a Microsoft Access database using ODBC and an ODBC DSN.
• The images are embedded into an OLE Object field.
• The first record in the collected data does not have an image collected for that field.

If these are true, none of the downloaded records will successfully embed images into the database.

RESOLUTION

Instead of using an ODBC data source, use either the direct Microsoft Access support in ITScriptNet, or use the Data Link editor to create a Microsoft Access connection using the Access driver. This problem only appears to occur using the ODBC driver.
