There are two methods you can use to communicate with a Dolphin 9500 / 7900 terminal or PocketPC device over Direct USB.
1) You may use the Direct USB selection in ITScriptNet if your terminal supports a USB Virtual Serial Port. Not all Windows CE or PocketPC devices support this driver. The Dolphin 9500 / 7900 do support it.
2) You may select ActiveSync as the communications method on the PC and Terminal. Then, establish an ActiveSync connection between the PC and Terminal. This will allow you to use the standard Upload and Download utilities while ActiveSync is connected to transfer data between the PC and Terminal.
Note that you can configure ActiveSync so it establishes a partnership with your PC but does not synchronize any data. You can also configure ActiveSync to connect automatically whenever you place the terminal in the cradle.
Also Note that the Dolphin 7300/7400/7400 PocketPC USB cradle appears to the PC as an IrDA device, not a USB device.
