We have become aware of an issue with the 2.16 Kernel on the Dolphin 7400 and 7450 that causes the ALR Laser to return incorrect results when scanning barcodes with specific data encoded. We are working with HHP to resolve this issue. At this time, the only work around is to revert the Dolphin terminal to Kernel version 2.15.

UPDATE
We have determined that the issue is due to the addition of the Tri-Optic barcode symbology by HHP in the 2.16 Kernel. If this barcode symbology and Code 39 are both active, it is possible that the code will be misread. This problem has been fixed in ITScriptNet version 1.2c(6).
