When connecting a Dolphin 7300 / 7400 / 7450 direct serial cable to the terminal, autodownload does not start.
RESOLUTION
The Dolphin 7300 / 7400 / 7450 auto-download software activates when the Dolphin detects that it has been placed into the Homebase. This is done by detecting when the Dolphin is charging. If a direct serial cable is connected and has the power supply connected, the Dolphin will detect it. However, if the cable is connected but without the power supply, the Dolphin will not detect the cable, and will not auto-download.
To allow auto-download with a direct serial cable, make sure to connect the power supply as well.
