7600 Hibernate or Dark Screen?

My client was using a basic label program on a 7600 and he is telling me the screen has gone dark and can't get out of it. He can see the program on the dolphin as if the back light was turned off. But no luck getting out of it. I am not sure what the pressed or did, only what they are telling me. Anyone got any ideas? Tried putting it in the cradle, the green light comes on but active synce is not recognizing it.

To reset the backlight setting on a mobile device, see the hardware user manual for instructions. For the Dolphin 7600, go to the hardware's user guide PDF on Page 19 (section 3-3) for instructions to reset the backlight.
