GS1-128 (formerly UCC/EAN-128) Barcode symbology
Posted: 03 Nov 09 10:52 AM
Hello,
I need to be able to set my dolphin 7600 scanner device to read this barcode symbology only. But I don't see it in the symbology drop down. Can some tell me which one it is?

For any device model, a particular barcode symbology will be available in the ITScriptNet program's advanced symbology settings as long as the selected device model supports that symbology. You may also need to enable the specific symbology in your device's hardware settings.

If your Dolphin 7600 is a Windows CE device: in your data collection program, select "Device" from the menu row, then "Select Device", and set the selection to the Dolphin 7900. Then you will see the GS1-128 barcode in the advanced symbology settings list; and which should be able to be scanned in the program on the Dolphin 7600 Windows CE device as long as it has been enabled in the hardware.

Note that the ITScriptNet client software that is loaded to the Dolphin 7600 MUST remain as the ITScriptNet-Dolphin 7600 client.

If you experience difficulty with scanning the GS1-128 barcode on a Dolphin 7600 CE device, you may need to upgrade your device's firmware; contact Honeywell support to obtain a firmware upgrade.
