Scanning disabled after install

After installing ITScriptnet on the devices we use, which are Intermec CN3's running Windows Mobile 5, the scanner no longer works in any other program but ITScriptnet. Notes and Wordmobile no longer accept the scans. Does anyone know of any setting to change that will fix this? Either something within ITScriptent or the OS? If I restore the system defaults on the device, the scanning then starts to work again, but any subsequent updating causes the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The ITScriptNet client on the device disables the wedge mode. Once the ITScriptNet client exits, the wedge is left disabled. You will need to manually re-enable the scan wedge to use it in other applications (on the device, Intermec Settings, expand Data Collection, Virtual Wedge check box).

ITScriptNet must turn off the scan wedge or the scan wedge will also scan the data and create duplicate records. There currently isn’t a utility to turn the scan wedge back on.

As long as you are not using the ITScriptNet features such as Device Licensing, radio management, the image capture, GPRS, or other unsupported features which are not supported in the ITScriptNet generic client, as an alternative you could load the ITScriptNet WM generic client which does not disable the scan wedge.
