Whirlpool is a manufacturer
of large and small appliances. ZTI has provided label printing
software in several plants. The software prints serial plates
and carton tags
for dryers, washers, and small appliances such as stand
mixers, in both on-line and offline modes The systems were written primarily in VB with both SQL
Server and Access backends.

Media Webcasters
Media Webcasters
provides streaming media services for pay-per-view events, music,
and advertising. ZTI consulted on the design of the streaming
system, and provided Real Media Server authentication services,
database maintenance programs, and payment processing services.

Muncie Novelty
Muncie Novelty is a
manufacturer of tickets and fundraising games. ZTI provided
several systems, including a tracking system for production which
tracks all serial numbers produced. State regulation
requires serial number information to be maintained for at least 3
years. Currently, there are over 9 million serial numbers
recorded in the system. The system is an N-Tier system built
on COM, using a SQL Server backend.

BevCorp, Inc.
Bevcorp remanufactures large soda filling machines. They
inventory hundreds of parts, both new and reconditioned. ZTI
provided an ITScriptNet
solution using Apex III
terminals, integrating with Bevcorp's customer Access inventory
database.

Metro provides magazine subscription packages for readers.
ZTI provided a complete order tracking system which includes order
entry, verification, customer service, and payment processing.
The system is an N-Tier system, using a VB front-end and a SQL
Server backend.

3PF.com
3PF.com is an internet fulfillment
center which fills orders and ships product for its clients.
ZTI provided a software solution which routes each shipment to the
correct spur on a 10-spur conveyor line. Each spur has a
fixed-mount scanner connected to the host PC. The
scanners read the package ID and the software determines if the package is
intended for that spur using definable rules. The software
uses XML to interface with 3PF's corporate servers to determine
shipment information. The system was
written in C++ with a VB database front end and SQL Server backend.

American Mailwell
Mailwell is a
manufacturer of envelopes. ZTI provided a custom Inventory and
Tracking system using portable data collection terminals and PC
software. The application has a VB front-end to an Access
database and uses portable data collection terminals.

Malco Products
Malco manufactures cleaners and chemicals for the automotive
industry. ZTI provided a locator system which is used for
order picking, moves, and product put away. The system uses
MEQ and Apex II terminals in batch mode along with PC software, and
interfaces to Malco's corporate accounting system. This system
is a VB front-end to an Access database.

Poulan/Weedeater/Frigidaire
Home Products
Poulan manufactures Weedeaters
and leaf blowers. ZTI provided a system to print Carburator
and Case labels on the production lines. The system uses Lanpoint
PCs along with Zebra label
printers to generate the labels. The system was written in
C/C++.

Stark Metropolitan Housing
Authority
SMHA is a housing authority
for Stark County. ZTI provided an integrated Inventory
tracking system with Purchasing, Assets and Work Orders for over a
dozen locations throughout the county. Maintenance personnel
have portable data collection terminals and record the details of
parts used for repairs at each unit. The terminals are then
downloaded to the PC at each location, and synchronized with the
central database. This system was written in C/C++. |
