Introducing ITScriptNet OMNI - taking the ease-of-use of
ITScriptNet
Batch to the next level by adding support for Radio Frequency ( RF )
networks. Now your data collection programs can perform database lookups
and save collected data directly to a PC over RF.
Your data collection programs can communicate using 802.11b
(WiFi) networks, GSM / GPRS radios, or any wireless or wired modem that supports
RAS.
ITScriptNet OMNI uses the same easy-to-use program
designer as
ITScriptNet Batch and
Batch Plus, with the addition of the new features
to support RF communications. Several new In-Prompt Script functions have
been added, and Validation File lookups allow you to lookup
data directly from an ODBC data source in real-time. You can also select
to download your collected data immediately or accumulate it on the terminal in
the event an RF connection can not be established.
ITScriptNet OMNI supports the following data
collection devices:
The full line of Dolphin
terminals from Hand Held Products, including:
- Dolphin 7900
- Dolphin 9500
- Dolphin 7600
- Dolphin 7200 RF
- Dolphin 7300
- Dolphin 7400 / 7450
- Dolphin 7400 / 7450 PocketPC
The Compsee line of portable terminals, including:
- MAT 203 / 204
- Apex III / IV
As well as PocketPC (PocketPC 2002 and higher) and Windows
CE (3.0, 4.1, 4.2, .Net and higher on ARM processors). You can also run
the same data collection programs on a PC using the PC Client program or ActiveX
Control.
