AP Configuration Guide

This guide describes the steps required to configure a Cisco 350 series Access Point.

STEP 1 - Set the IP Address and SSID of the Access Point

Open your Internet Browser and navigate to the IP Address of the Cisco 350 Series AP 12.00T (refer to Cisco 350 Series AP 12.00T documentation for default IP Address).

Once you’ve reached the Cisco 350 Series AP 12.00T Home page, click the Setup Link (third link from the right at top of page).

Click the Identification link for AP Radio, which is located under Network Ports at the bottom left of the Setup screen.

If needed you can change the Default IP Address from this page. Also, you will need to setup a Service Set ID (SSID) for the Access Point to use. After updating these values, click the OK button to save you’re your changes.

Step 2 – Setup WEP Keys on the Access Point

Click the Hardware link for AP Radio, which is located under Network Ports at the bottom left of the Setup screen (SEE Step 1 for instructions on navigating to the Setup page).

If you have not already set the Service Set ID (SSID) on the Identification page then you can set it from this Page. You may also want to set the ‘Allow “Broadcast” SSID to Associate?’ option to no for security reasons. Next, Click the Radio Date Encryption (WEP) link at the bottom of this page.

From the AP Radio Data Encryption page you can set WEP Keys values for your access point to use. Once you are finished settings up the various WEP Key values click the OK button to save you’re your changes.
