This guide describes the steps required to configure RF
communications on a Dolphin 7400 PocketPC Portable Terminal.
STEP 1 – Setup IP Address on terminal
Navigate to StartàSettingsàControl
PanelàNetwork
Adapters on the Dolphin 7400 PPC.
 Select the
Cisco Wireless LAN Adapter and then click the Properties
button. 
Set the IP Address to be used for this Dolphin 7400 PPC.
 STEP 2 –
Set the SSID on the Terminal
Navigate to Start->Control Panel->Aironet Client
Utility Settings. 
Add new profile to Aironet Client Utility by
clicking the Add button and then keying in name for new profile.
 Once the
new Profile has been created, select it and then click the Edit…
button. This will bring up the properties screen.
 Select
SSID in the Property list and input the value that your access point
has been configured for (SEE Step1 in the Access Point Setup).
STEP 3 – Set WEP Keys on the terminal
Select WEP in the Properties list of the Aironet
Client Utility (See Step 2 for getting to the Profile Properties
screen. 
Select a value for your WEP Keys:
Click the WEP Keys… button to set the individual
WEP Key values
